SUMMARY:Insider Series: Murals of La Jolla Guided Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join ICA San Diego for May’s Insider Series event: a Murals of La Jolla private walking tour — led by Taylor Chapin\, upcoming ICA San Diego artist — as well as drinks and appetizers afterwards\, hosted by Quint Gallery in La Jolla. \nThe La Jolla Mural project “expands the definition of the traditional public mural structure by reimagining how to utilize private property as an opportune space for public art through a print-based process\, including works by local\, national\, and international artists.” The collection features a mural — Hedonic Treadmill\, 2022 (pictured) — from current ICA San Diego artists\, Einar and Jamex de la Torre! \nLearn more about the La Jolla Mural project here and RSVP here for an afternoon of art\, outdoors\, and community with ICA San Diego. The tour will be 90 minutes on Friday\, May 5th\, starting at 2:00pm. \nThis event is limited to members at the Honorary Level. Email julea@icasandiego.org with any questions. \nRSVP to the event here!  \nPhoto credits: Einar and Jamex de la Torre’s Mural\, “Hedonic Treadmill\,” 2022.
