(Suggested donation: $10 general, $5 student/senior/military, free ages 12 & under)

Accessibility

ICA North is ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible. Designated accessibility parking is available in the Education Pavilion and Artist Pavilion lots.

Parking

Upon arrival, please park in our Education Pavilion parking lot to begin your visit. Should accessibility be of concern, please be assured designated accessibility parking is available in both the Education and Artist Pavilion lots.

Public Transportation

Bus: Take the Number 304 Bus towards Palomar College Transit Center and get off at El Camino Real & Santa Fe Dr. ICA North is approximately a 15 minute walk from the Bus stop.

Directions

From Route I-5 North, take exit 39 for Manchester Avenue.
Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto Manchester Avenue.
Continue straight on Manchester Avenue—which becomes S. El Camino Real—for 1.3 miles.
ICA San Diego / North will be on the left

From Route I-5 South, take exit 41 for Santa Fe Drive.
Turn left onto Santa Fe Dr. and continue for 1.4 miles.
Turn right onto El Camino Real and continue for .8 miles.
ICA San Diego / North will be on the right.

Parking

Parking is free and accessibility parking is available in all parking lots. Valet Parking is available across from ICA Central, on Presidents Way outside the House of Hospitality. For a map and details, visit Balboa Park Parking.

Public Transportation

Bus: Take the Number 7 Bus towards 69th & University and get off at Park Bl & Village Pl. ICA Central is approximately a 6 minute walk from the Bus stop. Take the bridge over Park Blvd to the El Prado promenade, walk through the Plaza de Panama, ICA Central will be on the left past the Mingei Museum, across the street from Panama 66 restaurant at San Diego Museum of Art.

Trolley: Take the Trolley to City College Trolley Station. From there take the Number 7 Bus as above.

Directions

From I-5 N, take 6th Avenue exit and turn right onto 6th Avenue. Turn right onto El Prado…

From I-5 S, take Laurel Street exit and turn left onto Laurel Street (East) until it turns into El Prado…

From El Prado, cross the Cabrillo Bridge into Balboa Park. Drive past the ICA Central (on the right) and follow the road as it curves right around the building. After the stop sign and pedestrian crossing, take a right into the Alcazar parking lot. If this lot is full, the next nearest parking lot is behind the Spreckels Organ Pavilion.

From Park Boulevard, enter the Park on Presidents Way. You will pass the Federal parking lot, the Air & Space Museum lot, and Organ Pavilion lot (additional parking here). To reach the Alcazar parking lot, you have to drive through the roundabout at Plaza de Panama and make a u-turn, then turn right into the Alcazar lot which is located directly behind the House of Charm, home to ICA Central. Walk through the Alcazar Garden and turn right into the corridor to find the entrance of ICA Central.
