C You Saturday! – March 2024

Please join us for an evening of community activities at the ICA San Diego / North campus. Visit the galleries and see the exhibition, Beyond the End of the World, by world-renowned artist collective, SUPERFLEX. Learn more about our Ceramics Lab with a demo, then get your hands into some clay by participating in a community building project. The family friendly art activity will introduce you to ICA San Diego’s Valise program. Join us in the garden for music, food, and drinks to enjoy! As always, in an effort to reduce barriers to contemporary art, admission to these events and our exhibitions are complimentary to the public.

4pm – 6pm | Family Friendly Activity, Ceramic Community Project, Ceramics Sale

Family Friendly Activity: Learn about our Valise Project through “Bird Hub,” by artist Daniel Wheeler, centered on the birds who call San Elijo Lagoon home.

Ceramic Community Project: Add your piece to the tower! Make a small sculptural piece to add to the ICA Ceramics Lab Tower. Ceramics Lab staff will guide you through the process and offer creative support.

Spring Ceramics Sale: 100% of every ceramics purchase goes back to the ICA Learning and Outreach program where we bring art education to kids and people who need it most.

6pm – 7pm | Music, Ceramic Community Project, Ceramics Sale

Music by Oceanside-based DJ, DJ Kid Riz (Rizaldy Cruz).

7pm – 8pm | Music, Ceramics Sale

4pm – 8pm | Enjoy Drinks, Eats, SUPERFLEX exhibition

Beverages, and food by Nono Empanadas available for purchase.
