ICA San Diego and UNFOLD PROJECTS, are pleased to present Exhibition 01: We Must Imagine It — the first iteration of an exhibition series exploring regenerative materials and processes in art and design.

This inaugural presentation features artists from the UNFOLD Encinitas Guild, highlighting individual practices shaped by collective experimentation, shared learning, and material innovation developed through UNFOLD PROJECTS’ first edition in Encinitas.

As part of ICA San Diego’s and UNFOLD PROJECTS commitment to contemporary art, community connection, and forward-thinking creative dialogue, this exhibition invites audiences to engage with new ideas around sustainability, collaboration, and the future of making.
