4:00 – 5:00 pm | Opening Reception for Cat Gunn: if only by the light of a new moon

Cat Gunn was the 2025 ICA Artist in Residence and the work on view in this exhibition was created during the year Gunn spent in at the ICA artist studio at Studio 6608. Using installation, ceramics,textiles and cyanotypes. if only by the light of a new moon, Gunn’s first solo museum exhibition, explores the complex terrain of inherited memory and the seemingly impossible nostalgia for a home that one has never known

5 PM | Poetry Reading by Alexis N. Garcia

Visitors are invited to a poetry reading at 5pm by writer, printmaker, and educator Alexis N. Garcia. You can find their poems, archival scans, & linocut experiments in The Hopkins Review, Poets.org’s “Poem-A-Day” series, The Slowdown, beestung, Peach Mag, among others. Garcia’s first book TIME IS A SILLY BOY, is forthcoming in Spring 2027.
