Celebrate the height of summer at ICA San Diego!
Join us for live music and dancing in our Artist Pavilion and hilltop sculpture garden. You can enjoy food, drinks, and an incredible pom pom activity for the whole family.

4 PM – 8 PM | Ongoing Activities
- Discover Edra Soto‘s community-built new piece, Graft. An extended version of Soto’s ‘Tropicalamerica 21’ work from 2021, inspired by the all-black Puerto Rican flag, which has become a symbol of independence. While in residence, Soto invited visitors to sit with her, play dominoes, and create 35 huge our-pointed metal stars. This new piece is now on view!
- Support local! Enjoy Barracruda Ceviche, draft Beer from our North County Neighbors, Viewpoint Brewery Co, as well as Curious Elixir‘s Non-Alcoholic Cocktails for purchase!
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Family friendly art activities!
- The Pompom Project: Power in Practice – Join artist Katie Ruiz to make colorful yarn pom poms for an upcoming public art project! Come hang out, make new friends, and help us create pom poms that will form part of a large-scale installation in San Diego.
- Micro-tours of Edra Soto’s exhibition will be provided by our amazing Engagement Guides.
4:30 PM – 5:30 PM | Language of (Latin Dance) Salsa!
- Kage and Brenda Hart, owners and instructors at Fred Astaire Dance Studio have been serving North County San Diego for over 11 years — bringing the beauty of partnership dancing to all! Come join us for a fun dance workshop where Kage and Brenda will display their technique and then teach you how to dance with confidence and joy!
5:30 PM – 8 PM | Live Music
- Enjoy Helena Holleran, San Diego-based nine-piece band with a cinematic sound. Their varied music draws inspiration from R&B, Soul, Jazz, Latin, Afrobeat, and Reggae, inspiring an undeniable groove, infectious swing, sweet songbird-soul melodies, and often profound lyrics.
C You Saturday! is free and open to everybody. A monthly celebration where our community can gather, grow, and chill out. There is something for everyone!
